About Our Campaign

Funeral costs continue to rise, and decisions often need to be made quickly at a time of grief. Many families feel they have little choice but to take on debt, using credit cards, payday lenders, or borrowing from family and friends, which can lead to long-term financial difficulty and strain on relationships.

Our campaign aims to help people feel more informed and confident: encouraging them to ask questions, understand the options available, and access the right support. This includes helping families understand what financial assistance is available, how to maximise income, and what practical options they have, so that the cost of a funeral does not create additional hardship at an already difficult time.

Working in Partnership

This campaign is a collaboration between Funeral Experts and Stop Loan Sharks (England Illegal Money Lending Team), combining expertise in funeral planning with protection against predatory lending.
